User Agreement
This agreement applies when an individual learner or authorized organization user creates a DTRS Academy account.

1. Electronic agreement
By checking the acceptance box and creating an account, you enter into this User Agreement with Data Tech Risk Solutions LLC. You agree to the Terms of Use and Terms and Conditions and acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy and Return and Refund Policy.
2. Account type and authority
You agree that your selected account type and organization information are accurate. If you register for or act on behalf of an employer, college, government agency, group, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to perform the actions you take for that organization.
3. Learning and completion records
You authorize DTRS Academy to maintain records reasonably necessary to provide learning services, including enrollment, progress, assessment, purchase, fulfillment, completion, credential, and testing-coordination records. If your training is sponsored or administered by an organization, authorized program information may be shared with that organization as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
When you place an order, you authorize the displayed charge and represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. Recurring subscription purchases authorize renewal charges until cancellation. Refunds, course cancellations, vouchers, licenses, and testing-related items are governed by the Return and Refund Policy and applicable third-party terms.
5. Testing and certification
You understand that certification and assessment providers are independent of DTRS unless expressly stated otherwise. You are responsible for candidate identification, appointment, security, voucher, eligibility, conduct, and retake requirements imposed by the applicable provider. DTRS does not guarantee an exam result or certification award.
6. Integrity and authorized cybersecurity practice
You agree not to cheat, falsify work, misuse protected exam content, impersonate another learner, or use DTRS systems to facilitate unauthorized access. Cybersecurity techniques taught by DTRS must be practiced only in environments you own or are explicitly authorized to test.
7. Communications
You consent to receive transactional and service communications needed to operate your account, fulfill purchases, deliver training, coordinate testing, provide security alerts, and administer programs. Marketing communications, when used, will be handled according to applicable law and available opt-out controls.
8. Account security
You are responsible for protecting your password and account access. You agree to notify DTRS promptly of suspected compromise and to cooperate with reasonable account-security verification.
9. Term and termination
This agreement begins when you accept it and continues while you use DTRS Academy. Ending account use does not eliminate payment, license, academic-integrity, confidentiality, intellectual-property, privacy, recordkeeping, or other obligations that by their nature survive termination.
10. Acceptance record
Submitting account registration after checking the agreement box is your electronic acceptance of this User Agreement and the incorporated policies. DTRS may record the acceptance date, policy version, account, and related audit information.
These policies are business terms for DTRS Academy and may be updated as the Academy, products, or applicable law change.
